The Outreach Youth Lab is more than a program — it’s a living, breathing community of young advocates driving social transformation across Nigeria.

From Kaduna to Calabar, Abeokuta to Yola, our YouthLab Fellows represent a new wave of socially conscious leaders championing adolescent health, gender equity, and justice in their communities.

Sadiya Buhari Tanko

Community Development Educator & Project Coordinator

Sadiya Buhari Tanko is a graduate of International Studies from Ahmadu Bello University with certification in Project Management. She combines her academic background with practical experience in teaching, project coordination, and community volunteerism. Passionate about the UN Sustainable Development Goals, she is committed to empowering youth and fostering community growth through education, strategic planning, and advocacy.

Salma Hassan Bizi

Creative Storyteller & Youth Development Advocate

Salma is a physiotherapy student and founder of Shade of Poetry, using spoken word and storytelling to amplify youth voices. She co-founded In a Girls’ World, a platform focused on empowering teenage girls. With notable performances at national events and leadership training, she is committed to education, youth leadership, and social impact.

Rachael Oyindamola Kolapo

Future Physician & Health Equity Advocate

Rachael is a medical student passionate about healthcare access, social justice, and inclusive leadership. As Assistant Secretary General of FUHSIMSA-SCOPH, she actively promotes health education, community empowerment, and youth-led advocacy for equitable healthcare systems.

Patience Musa

Peace Advocate & Creative Humanitarian

Patience is a spoken word artist, entrepreneur, and peace advocate from Maiduguri. A graduate of the University of Maiduguri, she blends humanitarian work and creative expression to drive social change and inspire empathy within communities.

Toluwaloju Victoria Oluwatosin

Social Impact Communicator & Youth Mobilizer

Tosin is a communication strategist and community developer passionate about education, gender equality, and youth empowerment. Through leadership roles and impactful outreach programs, she champions initiatives that uplift and educate underserved communities.

Abundance Attauko Dickson

Adolescent Health & Gender Equality Advocate

A dedicated social impact leader with a background in Zoology, this changemaker advances adolescent health, gender equity, and youth leadership. With experience in research, advocacy, and digital engagement, they champion sustainable community transformation.

Chinemerem Chiedozie

Peace Advocate & Creative Humanitarian

Chinemerem is a computer science student specializing in cybersecurity and passionate about digital inclusion. Through leadership programs and tech initiatives like the ideated Secure Steps Initiative, they aim to empower underserved groups and enhance digital safety.

Mohammed Zainab Ovayioza

Health Educator & Creative Youth Advocate

Zainab is a youth-focused health educator skilled in public outreach and media advocacy. She leads health campaigns and entrepreneurial networks, using creative tools like fashion and radio to engage and empower young people on key health issues.

Amirah Bello Lamuwa

Public Health Advocate & Community Mobilizer

Amirah is a humanitarian devoted to health education and community empowerment. Through extensive volunteerism, she addresses health disparities and promotes well-being in marginalized communities, driven by a commitment to equity and lasting impact.

Digital Skills Champion & Gender Inclusion Strategist

Raphael is a program manager and digital inclusion advocate promoting tech empowerment for women and girls. Through his work with Webfala Digital Skills, he advances gender equity in technology and leads initiatives that foster safe, inclusive digital spaces.

Dr. Waziri is a medical doctor and community health advocate passionate about preventive healthcare, youth development, and policy reform. He has led health outreach programs and youth initiatives, earning recognition for his commitment to service and leadership.

Onyanta Victoria Egwunyeche

Human Rights Lawyer & Gender Equality Advocate

Onyanta is a legal practitioner with five years of experience championing human rights and gender equality. Her work focuses on policy reform, adolescent advocacy, and strategic litigation in gender-based violence and discrimination cases.

Usman Bashir Abubakar

Youth Development Strategist & Social Impact Writer

Usman is a youth development expert and writer dedicated to advancing gender equality and social justice. Through storytelling, research, and advocacy, he addresses systemic inequalities and drives sustainable development initiatives.

Ayomide Adeola Adesina

Digital Storyteller & Gender Equality Advocate

Ayomide is a digital advocate and changemaker leveraging storytelling to combat gender-based violence and period poverty. He partners with youth-focused organizations to amplify voices and promote inclusive change.

Solomon Oluwatobiloba Adewole

Cultural Reformer & Community Advocate

Chief Solomon uses his traditional platform to challenge harmful practices like female genital mutilation. He collaborates with stakeholders to promote human rights while preserving cultural dignity and community values.

Mercy Adeola Adeyemo

Aspiring Health Lawyer & Gender Justice Advocate

Mercy is a law undergraduate with a strong academic background and a passion for health law. She is focused on advocating for legal reforms to address harmful traditional practices and gender-based violence.

Grace is a cross-sectoral advocate with a decade of experience in media, education, and nonprofit work. She is committed to women’s empowerment and developing innovative solutions for community advancement.

Princess Oluebube Emmanuel

Disability Inclusion Advocate & Youth Leader

Princess is a passionate advocate for disability rights, leading school-based awareness campaigns and organizing inclusive education initiatives. She champions accessibility, equity, and inclusive policy.

Akunna Ogbonna Ogo

Gender Justice Advocate & Student Leader

Akunna is a student of public sciences and feminist advocate dedicated to ending gender-based violence and female genital mutilation. She brings a survivor’s voice to the movement for reform and education.

Sadeeq Adewale Abioye

Gender & Public Health Program Officer

Sadeeq is a health and gender equity advocate with expertise in One Health, feminist leadership, and grassroots development. He currently leads programs tackling harmful practices, WASH, and youth health outcomes.

Gender Equity Advocate & Founder, CLEARMISSION

Simbiat Ipinmisho is a dedicated gender equity advocate and founder of CLEARMISSION, where she promotes Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) in Nigerian secondary schools and supports survivors of gender-based violence through advocacy, awareness, and mentorship.

Abubakar Olamilekan Nurudeen

Social Worker & GBV Case Manager

Abubakar Nurudeen is an experienced social worker specializing in child protection and gender-based violence case management. With advanced degrees in social work and development studies, he currently serves as a GBV Case Manager at the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, driving impactful social protection initiatives.

Aaron Igbagbo Omosele

Social Entrepreneur & Girl Child Advocate

Aaron Omosele is a social entrepreneur and girl child advocate, leading initiatives like Girl Again Projects and Volunteers Connect. He also champions faith-based relationship education and serves as Chairman of Blossom Girls Outreach Foundation, supporting rehabilitation for survivors of sex trafficking.

Chinecherem Sabina Ugwueze is a youth leadership advocate with a decade of experience in child protection, gender justice, and digital advocacy. She currently serves as Communication Officer at CAPRIGHTS-VP, supporting M&E and strategic outreach for women and children's rights.

Abraham Ogbeche is a development advocate committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with over 50 community projects addressing poverty, inequality, and youth empowerment across underserved communities.

Adenike Latifat Sulaimon

Health & Environmental Advocate

Adenike Sulaimon is a student of Health Promotion and Environmental Health Education at the University of Ilorin. She leads advocacy on sexual and reproductive health and environmental sustainability, equipping youth with knowledge through workshops and campaigns.

Gloria Idiakeowa Kolawole

Teen Coach & Inclusion Researcher

Gloria Kolawole is a teen coach and mentor dedicated to purpose discovery and inclusion for pregnant teens and teen mothers. Her work combines advocacy, research, and mentorship to break cycles of poverty and teenage pregnancy.

Agnes Lucy Udoh

Educator & Menstrual Health Advocate

Agnes Udoh is an educator and menstrual health advocate transforming the lives of girls in underserved communities. With a background in botany and ecology, she champions hygiene education and empowers girls through personal development and career-focused mentorship.

DivineGift Chinonso Oparaocha

Medical Scientist & Human Rights Advocate

DivineGift Oparaocha is a medical laboratory scientist and certified SGBV instructor who integrates public health and human rights advocacy, empowering communities through awareness, disease prevention, and survivor support.

Bright Stephen Dino

Public Health Educator & SRHR Advocate

Bright Dino is a public health professional focused on promoting mental, sexual, and reproductive health. Through education and community engagement, he works to ensure equitable access to healthcare and eliminate stigma around health issues.

Salamatu Habu Bida is a classroom teacher at Nana Aisha College of Islamic Theology and holds a BA in English Language from Federal University Gashua. Passionate about educational reform, writing, and mentorship, she is committed to empowering youth through learning. As a Spotlight Local Government Accountability Fellow, her project focuses on driving change through education and advocacy for menstrual hygiene and ending child marriage.

Mercy Chioma John

Mass Communication Graduate & Youth Engagement Enthusiast

Mercy Chioma John is a recent graduate of Mass Communication, known for her interpersonal skills, creative communication, and passion for youth development. She is dedicated to driving social impact and is continuously seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Public Administrator & Humanitarian Education Advocate

Peter Jacob is the Best Graduating Student from the Department of Public Administration, University of Maiduguri (Class of 2023). A dedicated teacher and changemaker, he has led and contributed to youth-focused education and humanitarian projects aligned with the SDGs. Abdulwahab Abubakar is a youth leader passionate about social accountability, inclusive governance, and digital advocacy. With vast experience in community engagement and campaigning, he works to promote gender justice, SRHR, and transparent governance at the grassroots level.

Social Development Advocate & Youth Mentor

Deborah Lou Irie is a multilingual advocate for gender equity, education, and youth leadership. With experience in humanitarian aid and mental health programming, she designs and implements community projects that uplift adolescents and amplify grassroots voices.

Ayeni Idesukhe Daniel

Legal Researcher & Safe Campus Advocate

Idesukhe Ayeni is a law graduate and social impact advocate with a focus on education, sexual harassment prevention, and youth empowerment. A Millennium Fellow and former student leader, he leads strategic campus safety interventions and national policy advocacy campaigns.

Child Rights Advocate & Digital Safety Educator

Gambo Maina Bawa is the founder of Maina & Kids Children Foundation, committed to providing education and protection for vulnerable children. Through programs like SafeNet Ambassadors, he promotes digital literacy and safety, fostering transformative community change.

Grace Oluwamodupe Adedokun

Textile Artist & Sustainable Fashion Entrepreneur

Grace Oluwamodupe Adedokun is a rising textile artist and the creative force behind MO Textiles. Inspired by Nigerian culture and sustainability, she produces eco-friendly Adire designs using traditional methods, blending heritage with modern fashion.

Nafisa Bala Umar

Medical Researcher & Sustainable Development Advocate

Nafisa Bala Umar is a data analyst and researcher championing accessible healthcare, waste management, and environmental sustainability. She leads innovations like the M-cliq medical device and the #LUV movement, advocating for transparency and grassroots empowerment.
